We are a 501(c)3 non-profit legal aid organization that relies 100% on private donations, grants and endowments. It is these donations that allow us to bring the much-needed services we have been providing for over 60 years.

Who we Are
Northern Nevada Legal Aid (NNLA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit legal aid organization founded in 1965. Since that time, we have assisted thousands of vulnerable Northern Nevada residents who cannot afford to hire an attorney. Our team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants is dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to the legal system and that everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
We provided legal assistance on over 10,500 legal matters in 2022.
1,343 seniors over 60 assisted through our Senior Legal Center in 2022.
1,258 protected persons represented in adult guardianship cases in 2022.
